KC5000 foam sealing material is made of A and B material after proper proportion of mixing, chemical reaction and form foaming body. Before it becomes a foaming body, the product is in liquid form and has good fluidity. It can be extremely well applied to fire proof and moisture-proof plugging at the bottom of various electrical and communication panels and cabinets, fire proof and moisture-proof plugging at the opening of complex perforating pipe fittings, etc. The foam sealing material by fire, heat and other high temperature will produce expanded carbon layer, can effectively prevent the spread of fire combustion and heat transfer, so it can provide good protection for non-fire surface, according to GB 23864-2009 standard requirements, with a 1.5h fire aging. In addition, the product in the harsh, dirty environment, still can maintain the normal fire and moisture-proof function.

Made from radiation cross-linked polyolefin. The dual layer structure of insulation/hot melt adhesive effectively provides electric insulation and shock protection to busbar up to 24KV. Widely used to protect irregular shape busbar or connectors where tube products can not be applied.

COTRAN HHWT co-extruded heavy wall heat shrinkable tubing with hot melting adhesive is made from radiation crosslinked polyolefin. Specifically designed formulation makes the tubing to have outstanding physical, chemical and electrical properties, and also meet the requirement of RoHS and other environment concerned standards. It is designed for applications to seal and protect electrical splices, cable terminations and joints where electrical insulation and water proof are required. 3:1 shrink ratio allows it easily fit over irregular shape and large connectors.

Applications：

The electrically semi-conductive property of the breakout provides effective conductive screen and sealing protection to the cable terminations. The breakout can be used to cable terminations up to 36kV.
