COTRAN Z551 Self-Fusing Silicon Rubber Tape

COTRAN Z551 self-fusing silicon rubber tape is composed of self-fusing silicone rubber and easily removed liner. It has excellent resistance to tracking, ozone, UV, corrosion, water and continuous operating temperature of -50℃~180℃. It can be used in dirty areas. Suitable for busbar insulation protection and phase identification, Insulation for terminations and joints of high-voltage power cables up to 35kV, Insulation for submarine cables, submersible motors, large-sized generators, automobiles, aero engines and other electrical equipment.

Usage

Remove the liner and stick the adhesive side to the objects tightly, then wrap the tape in half-lapped layers round the objects

Shelf life and Storage

COTRAN Z551 self-fusing silicon rubber tape has 2 year's shelf life from date of manufacture when stored in a humidity controlled storage (-10 °C to 40 °C and <75% relative humidity).
